Today I read the English translation of President Aquino's second State of the Nation address in the office before catching excerpts of the speech on TV in the evening. Although I wish he touched more on topics such as education and the RH bill, overall I think he made a good presentation. I am not expecting miracles from Aquino, but am hoping that he's a catalyst for change.
Already people are either cheering or jeering at his speech. Either way, whichever side you're on (or if you're neutral), I am still grateful to live in a country where we can not only choose our leaders, but are free and unafraid to praise or criticize their actions as we please.

I haven't seen his SONA, sabog na sabog na ko sa meds haha
ReplyDeleteBut I don't like the way he make parinig of the corruption of the previous administration. Sana nag-focused nalang siya dun sa mga RH bill nga. Mas importante pa yun than maubos oras niya kakasira sa kabila.
Wala namang perfect na administration. I hope the current one simply learns from the previous ones' errors and correct them moving forward. :)
