Many people find cross stitching a soothing and enjoyable hobby, but not me. I find it tedious to count all those little X's and having to undo them if I make a mistake. This is one of my unfinished projects from high school, a table napkin.
I feel exactly the same way. I had a project in high school that I never finished, because it was a complicated pattern to follow.
