The new jeepney route and the ongoing repair of the roads in Divisoria meant that I was going to be late unless I took a taxi. I took this picture of the river while we were crossing Carmen Bridge. The river is known for whitewater rafting, which happens upstream. By the time the water gets down it is deceptively placid - I bet the current is still strong.

I've never tried whitewater rafting, although the adventurous streak in me wants to. Hindi kasi ako marunong lumanggoy. :P
ReplyDelete^Hindi rin ako marunong lumangoy. Float marunong haha
ReplyDeleteAng ganda ng sky.
You don't need to know how to swim - the life jackets actually keep you afloat even if you fall over, and the guides are also there to pull you out if you do. :)
ReplyDeletei miss passing by this bridge. sad to say i haven't got the change to try whitewater rafting. i really wanted to but takot ako kasi di ako marunong lumangoy kahit mag float (ngayon marunong na konti). i've heard of accounts wherein hinuhulog talaga sila sa tubig. hehe...
ReplyDeleteoo, they do that on purpose so it's more fun. hehehe...
