Day 245 - The Day We Sailed Around the Bay

We took the "duck tour" of Elpie Paras' amphibious vehicle. This was the first voyage the duck had with passenger guests. We rode the duck about four kilometers to the beach where we launched into the water. We spent an hour cruising around Macajalar Bay before getting off at Puntod near the MacArthur Monument.

    Actually, not yet. They are still navigating and surveying the bay (some portions are shallow and might cause the duck to get stuck in the sand) and coming up with packages/stops. We just managed to get a preview of the tour because we brought in reporters from a national daily. :)
