Early this afternoon, we received news of a massive magnitude 8.9 earthquake in Japan. Immediately I messaged Mai Mai to make sure she was ok (she was). We spent the afternoon getting updates via online news sites and Twitter. Then our golf course manager called saying that his daughter was panicking because there was a tsunami alert in Cagayan. I pulled up the PhiVolcs warning and found out that the alert was for Cagayan up in Luzon, not Cagayan de Oro. What a relief!
Nakakatakot nga yung mga tsunami alert. Taga-Cagayan de Oro ka ba sis?
